Frequently Asked Questions

  • Use medications regularly, maintaining appropriate time intervals

  • Know what your medications are

  • Have periodic check ups.

  • If you are using two or three drops at the same time, wait for a minimum of ten minutes between 2 applications.

  • After applying drops, close your eyes for a minute or two and gently compress the area over the tear duct near the inner corner of the eye. This will avoid unnecessary entry of the drug into the nose and onwards into blood stream, thus reducing the side effects.

  • If you forget to use your eye drops on schedule, administer a drop as soon as you remember. Do not wait until next scheduled time.

  • Tell your ophthalmologist if your medications are too inconvenient or uncomfortable

  • If your eye after surgery gets red and you have pain and watering contact your doctor/local eye specialist immediately.
