Narayana Hrudayalaya
Medifair 2010
will be Kolkata's largest healthcare platform till
date. Planned as a forum of interaction for
Healthcare providers, the fair aims to launch,
exhibit,
assess and access healthcare services through direct
interaction.
Narayana Hrudayalaya
is organizing eastern region biggest health mela
named as Narayana Hrudayalaya
Medifair 2010 at
Rotary Narayana Nethralaya one of its
unit in CN-V, Sector -V, Salt Lake City , Kolkata -
7000941 on 28,29,30 April 2010.

The healthcare industry in the country, which
comprises hospital and allied sectors, is projected
to grow 23 per cent per annum to touch US$ 77
billion by 2012 from the current estimated size of
US$ 35 billion. The growth in the sector would be
driven by healthcare facilities, private and public
sector, medical diagnostic and pathlabs and the
medical insurance sector. |

In the past five decades, India is mobilizing to
bring better health conditions and health care in
the society. India has serious health problems but
the fight for better health continues with a sense
of urgency. |

Activities |

A health mela is
an educational and interactive event designed
for outreach to provide basic preventive medicine
and medical screening to people in the society. It
can also be a public health intervention. The mela
consists of a variety of vendors and exhibitors that
educate on all aspects of health, wellness, fitness
and lifestyle improvements. |

Alongside the stalls we have also planned a series
of heath care camps that will occur simultaneously
in the fair ground to attract the public as well.

Seminars, conferences and interactive sessions to
have been planned to benefit and attract healthcare
professionals. |

Narayana Hrudayalaya Medifair 2010 is planning to offer the
largest platform for the Healthcare providers to launch, exhibit, assess and access health care services
through direct interaction.
The main emphasis pf the health mela will be on networking
and doing business face to face. The participants will
recognize the importance of being positioned prominently as
a genuine health care provider and been seen forward
looking, open and transparent in an increasingly competitive
